Tulipmania – Rediscovered (Part 2) – GBTB, SG (2016)

Tulipmania Rediscovered - 2016
At the entrance of the flower dome.

This is the second part of my Tulipmania article. (Read the first part of the article here.) Decided to visit the Flower Dome again last Sunday afternoon to have a closer look at the Tulips bloom in the day time.

During this visit in the day time, which was more crowded yet at the same time I get to see more blooms of the tulips than previously. Indeed the flowers have started to open more – those that were previously not yet blooming have begun to sprout. It is truly a very nice experience walking the gardens again to the sound of Ottoman music.

At the centre zone of the Flower Dome where the majority of the Tulip collection is on display, there are placards (like the ones pictured above) that shares interesting facts about the origins of Tulips. These contains interesting facts about the Tulips rich history and origins.

There is also a ongoing Snap & Win Competition organised by the event organiser. All you need is to get the Instagram frame take a photo and caption with the following hashtags #Gardensbythebay #GBTulipmania #KLM for a chance to win something. More info here.
