I’m not sure how to round up the week… but this was indeed a exciting and interesting week for me indeed.
Here is one trivial adventure to Starbucks…
On Wednesday I went to the Starbucks near my work place for my morning coffee – a Cold Brew. With that purchase I had a S$2 discount from HSBC Debit card, which make de drink value at S$2.10. With that, I also had a nice treat of a survey to fill up.
So on Thursday, I went to another Starbucks to redeem my Tall size Mango Fruit Jelly Yoghurt drink with Soy Customisation (value at SGD$8.50).
And on Friday, as I met a friend for tea at Starbucks, I placed an order for the Tall size Green Tea Soy Latte (value SGD$5.10 after $2 off HSBC Debit card promo), however as they ran out of Soy Milk, I did not have my drink as it should have been customised. So the barista offered me a upsize, but with whole milk – which was not acceptable to me. Since i wanted Soy and it was not available, so in the end I told her lets keep to the size and order I have made, just do with whatever ingredient that is available. She gave me a return voucher for a replacement drink.
It is definitely in such rare occasions that there is so much deep discount to Starbucks drinks here in Singapore. And even more rare to hit double free drinks within 2 visits. Making the probability even of lesser. However, I have to comment that they do delivery very good customer service.
Another food place I visited this week was Crazy Chef SG at Block 18 Bedok South which serves western food and has got interesting bento and burger sets for a western food stall in the heartlands. Food pricing is very affordable too. They also do catering for takeaway parties.
They are running a promotion for their 1 year anniversary where their members get to purchase their rainbow cake at $19.00 (approx. 900g) more info here.
It was indeed a week tasting food and drinks.
On the other side of my eat and drink week, I spend 3 days visiting the gym this week. Coincidentally three trips ended at the same gym. It has been a good one year with Fitness First – but time to hang up for my membership in another 2 months. Though, my membership does not yet expire, I have decided it is time to return to Virgin Active. The view from One Raffles Quay is one that gives me the nostalgia feeling, apart from that will be the one at Marina Bay Financial Centre. Both gives very nice waterfront views during the day and night time.
Hope your weekend was a fun one too!
