The 2nd edition of Singapore Contemporary opened today – January 19, 2017; at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre with an exclusive afternoon VIP Private View and evening VIP Vernissage, and continues through Friday and the weekend.

The event is spread over 6,000+ square meters with more than 90 exhibitors. They offering a wide selection of accessible and collectable works. Ranging from original paintings, limited editions, sculpture and photography – (including investment-grade art with a strong secondary market and auction following) as well as works by some of the world’s most interesting and promising artists.

I took photos of some of the artworks on display as well as some which are available in various art galleries which you might be interested in looking at or contacting them if you are unable to drop in for the exhibition.

In addition to showcasing over 3,000 carefully selected works of art, Singapore Contemporary will be structured around five principle sectors – Photo17 Singapore (Latin American Voices, Artists Dialogues, China Encounters, and Gallery Projects). There are also complimentary programs for adults and children including art tours, kid’s studio, art talks and live painting demonstrations which will run from Friday to Sunday (Pre-registration is required inside the exhibition hall).
