Tampines Eco Geen

Tampines Eco Green

Took a stroll at this lush greenery interim park over a Saturday morning.

Located next to the Sun Plaza park in Tampines, this lush green area (36 Hectares) is an interim park that is made up of three thematic trails as well as an Eco toilet (which reminds me of some olden days toilet in the wild).

It consist of open grasslands, freshwater wetlands and a secondary rainforest and is linked to park connectors from Tampines Biking Trail and Sun Plaza Park. The main activities include nature appreciation and bird-watching. A great nature hideout if you wish for somewhere quiet to take a stroll in the east.

My purpose of the walk was to collect the Omanyte from the Pokémon Go app while exploring the trail along the way. As there was slight drizzling in the morning, it was pretty cooling after the rain has stopped.

As the park is an Eco park, there are no lights to lit the place at night. It will be best to go in the day time.
