This is a second review of the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach. You may check out the review of the Deluxe Room which happened during the Soft Opening of the hotel prior to their Official Opening on March 24, 2017. Along with some of the facilities which were mentioned during the initial soft launch.
The stay for this review was concluded in late May 2017 during my recent visit to celebrate my 31st birthday.
The premier suite rooms are located on almost every floor the property. At the size of 100sqm/1076sq ft, each room comes with a entrance way, spacious living room, bedroom and of course a big bathroom with his and hers sections. Also, an additional toilet near the entrance way to the suite.
Though this is my first time staying in the suite, I had the chance to preview the Deluxe Suite prior to this stay when I visited the hotel last Christmas Eve to have a look at the preview rooms. That was when the decision was somewhat made to book a stay in their suite. Nevertheless, I have to say that Marriott has never failed me in terms of the hardware aspect – room size and comfort.
The photos which you see here are taken as-is during my stay at the property and it may differ from those shown on their website – I had requested for extra items to be added in the room (i.e. White roses in a vase, extra towels and HDMI cable).
En Suite Bathroom
Located on the 2nd floor of the Annexe Building, the executive lounge is accessible via the link bridge on the second floor to the next building where the Beach Road Kitchen Restaurant is located on the ground floor. Like any other Marriott properties, the lounge serves breakfast, tea, evening cocktail and canapes.

EBB 6 – Sky Garden, East Wing
In comparison to the first stay at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, this stay in the suite was a very enchanting and experiential one. The hotel staff has never failed to surprise me with the depth taken to look into fine details and requests place by hotel guests – from the roses to the birthday cake arrangements. Moreover, despite the minor hiccups related to the certain malfunctions which occur during the stay – where the audio in the bathroom was not working, or delay in sending up the birthday cake. Everything else went pretty smoothly. The service standard is still top notch, except some inconsistency in Executive Lounge dress-code enforcement, else all is well and good I would say. Also, they do remember to make it a point to do their best to serve with their signature “At Your Service” initiative to wow every guest.
