Mid-Autumn @ Gardens by the Bay 2017

Took a recent walk to the Gardens by the Bay on a weekday evening after the heavy downpour. The evening is fresh from the rain, but it does not dampen the crowd that visited the Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay. It is an annual event that happens for about 2 weeks during the 8th month of the Lunar Calendar.

For this year it was my first time experiencing the light up in the evening and a totally refreshing feel to watch the supertree garden rhapsody from the OCBC Skyway. As you step into the Gardens by the Bay entrances, you will notice the event map listing all the various activities as well as lantern displays dotting the supertree grove and the dragonfly lake.

There is a total of 8 locations where the different lanterns will be displayed; including one inside the Flower Dome – as part of the Autumn Harvest showcase.
