A photo a week – Nathan Road #1, Hong Kong SAR (China)

This photo was shot during one of the weekend trips out to Hong Kong. Though a random shot at the road divider while crossing the ever busy stretch of Nathan Road. It captures the essence of a busy street, yet culturally interesting place and a piece of a history where a city that use to be part of the British Empire for a 100 years due to the Opium War returning to China back in 1997. Over the past 20 years, the city has transformed – albeit a slower pace, but the face of change and challenges is seen all over from all walks of life. Quite thought provoking sometimes when you visit the city.
