Travelogue – Weekend in Kuala Lumpur (2019)

Took a short weekend getaway to KL – part of it to explore the new Sheraton in Petaling Jaya, another to check out the new LRT extension.

There were also some nice Dim Sun and Dinner places which I checked out during my short stay in KL.

Soft Launch Cafe
1-101, Jalan Radin Bagus, Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This cafe serves interesting waffles food combinations. It is located near Petaling Jaya – a short drive away from where I stayed. Tried the fried chicken waffle – tasted as good as the one I had back in Singapore at another cafe. The waffles are quite well cooked and the chicken cutlet batter is not too thick and goes well with the maple syrup.

Restoran Jin Xuan Hong Kong
No. 7 & 8, Jalan Kenari 8, Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia

The dim sum restaurant is located near the Putra Heights LRT station – short walk away. It serves fresh dim sum and is usually crowded in the morning hours. They have around 8 outlets around the KL and Selangor area. The dim sum are quite reasonable priced and affordable. Do drop in early so that there is less waiting time.

IOI Puchong Jaya LRT
Apart from food, there is also the new LRT stations that I happen to check out. As in my previous KL trips, I have already checked out the MRT so this trip, my travel is purely on the Kelana Jaya line, hence not much of trying the new train system.
