During my recent birthday trip to Kuala Lumpur, decided to check out some hotels on my bucket list. This is quite an interesting hotel for the way it feels very artistic from the moment you step into the building compound until you step into the rooms itself. Every zone within the hotel is filled with art work. At the same time, this one of the tallest eco hotels in Kuala Lumpur.
Booked the studio room for a night as this was one of the hotels to visit in my hotel bucket list.
The rooms here are huge and comes with dining utensils, microwave, deep sink and cutleries – which is suitable for family of 4.
It seems like it is a brand promise to have everything eco friendly, right to the drinking water. Which by instinct, I had my own blender bottle with me to refill the filtered drinking water from the 3M Kitchen Faucet (above).
It is one of the rare few hotels in Malaysia with an indoor swimming pool. It is quite a sight and good for days when the Haze shows up or during Wet weather. There is also the exercise room and small size gym within the same area for a quick workout during a busy trip.
Apart from wellness facilities, there is also the laundry room where you could do your laundry for RM10 per wash/drying – and it comes with detergent and softener.
THRACE Restaurant and Bar
Located on the same floor as the hotel lobby, it is hard to miss the THRACE restaurant and bar. They are open 6:30am daily for breakfast and closes at 12midnight or 1 am on weekends. It serves a variety of local and western fare. During my stay, i was up late and decided to try the food at the restaurant and bar.
The hotel is walking distance to The Intermark Mall (by Pavilion REIT) and next to the Kelana Jaya Line. The hotel also offers rental bicycle which you can loan to take a ride around the city. The KLCC and Avenue K are also within walking distance.
